RESOURCES

YOUR WELLNESS RESOURCE HUB

This space is just for you. Here you'll find some of my favorite books, handouts, and other resources that I regularly recommend in session. Each resource was chosen to help you feel grounded, informed, and supported whether you're practicing coping skills, learning more about mental health, or simply looking for inspiration.

Take what speaks to you, revisit what resonates, and know that you don't have to navigate any of this alone. We'll process anything you'd like to explore at your next appointment.

Book Recommendations

Below are a few thoughtfully selected books that many clients find supportive in their mental health journey. Each one offers practical tools, compassionate insight, and evidence-based strategies you can begin using right away. These books are not a substitute for therapy, but they can complement the work we do together and offer guidance, comfort, and perspective between sessions.

The Gifts of Imperfection - Brené Brown

A powerful guide to embracing authenticity, self-worth, and vulnerability. This book encourages readers to let go of perfectionism and cultivate compassion toward themselves and others.

The Highly Sensitive Person - Dr. Elaine Aron

For clients who feel "too sensitive," overwhelmed, or easily overstimulated. This book normalizes the experience of high sensitivity and provides research-backed strategies for managing it effectively.

Radical Acceptance - Tara Brach, Ph.D.

A mindfulness-based guide that teaches readers how to release shame, self-criticism, and fear through compassion and presence. Ideal for clients working on self-worth and emotional acceptance.

What my Bones Know - Stephanie Foo

A powerful and deeply personal memoir that explores the long-term effects of complex trauma and the healing process that follows. Stephanie shares her experience living with Complex PTSD and her journey toward understanding, recovery, and self-compassion. Through her story, readers gain insight into how trauma shapes identity, relationships, and the body - and discover that healing is not only possible, but often found in unexpected places. This book resonates with anyone seeking validation, hope, and a reminder that they are not alone in their healing journey.
